A friends daughter asked me very politely if I would take some pictures of her and her best friends. Since she asked so nicely I couldn't very well say no. I was a little worried about how many girls would turn up! But apparently I needn't have worried, they were very well behaved and such beautiful girls! I'd happily photograph them anytime!

Jessica is the newborn I photographed in December, shes now a beautiful smiling little girlie and has almost grown into her princess crown! Both girls are absolutely adorable, its a pleasure to photograph them.

I have been wanting to use this location for a few months now but the weather wasn't being kind to me. Today it was nice enough so off me and my little buddy went. I am so pleased with how these photos came out, hopefully I will get to use this location again!

An Adorable Baby!

Well this cutie made my job easy! She was so happy and smiley. This is the same baby I photographed at 1 month old back in December. She is now 3 months old. Her eyes amaze me, and this session was my first time ever shooting raw! I loved it, and I think I am now addicted :)

Martyn Davies Photoshoot

I had an email last week, a local DJ had seen the photos I did for my cousin (Also a DJ) and wondered if he could book a session. We got things organised pretty quickly and the shoot took place this weekend. He opted to go to the same location as my cousins session. I was lucky enough to find some nicely shaded areas as the session took place at 11am.. full sun! I'm pretty pleased with the results :)
On another note, on the way there I spotted a gorgeous new location! I'm planning to do a session there, but I will need a model... more information coming on that soon!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to photograph my first ever newborn. She was a little angel for me, falling asleep quickly and being generally relaxed through the whole shoot.

This afternoon I met with 5 girls aged 10 -12. It was more of a 'fun' session than a serious one, and we definitly did have fun.

Portfolio Building (aka Free Sessions!)

I'm currently trying to build my photography portfolio, and so am offering free photosessions.
Of course, there are some conditions.
Basically I'm asking for your permission to use the photos from the session on my website and other advertising materials. In return you will pay no fee for the session and will receive around 15 full size digital images (via email) which you are then free to print yourself.

I do not work with a studio and my photos are taken using only natural light, so my sessions take place during the daytime and on location. This could be a local park, your home or any other o If you have a favourite location let me know and we can arrange to have the session there.

Please contact me if you are interested, and feel free to let family and friends know about this offer. It is for a limited time only, and booking are filling up fast.

Preparing for Christmas

For the last 2 years we have had christmas cards with our dogs on them (yep... we're dog obsessed here!). This year we plan to continue with the theme. I have created a couple of layout templates using kits from Shabby Princess.

I haven't decided which, if any, we will use, but I had a blast making them :D
